Key Words OPEN the Scriptures

Jesus Christ commands us “make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you” (Matthew 28:19–20). It is not easy to teach what He has commanded. Why? Different denominations frequently teach different and confusing interpretations of Scripture. You can overcome this confusion by turning, not to human opinions, but to God and His Scriptures. Use this issue of GOOD NEWS to hear God explain to you His own basic definitions of His revelation, thereby strengthening your faith for this life and giving you the assurance of eternity in heaven. As you study God’s revelation, always remember that God’s Word is more than mere information. Rather, Jesus says His Words “are Spirit and are life” (John 6:63).
